Apple iPod 3rd generation classic ASMR battery replacement

40GB thick model bought from eBay as parts and untested, powers on using Firewire so I replaced the battery with a 'new' one from amazon. 3rd generation iPod classics are easy to open and have serviceable parts. ASMR no speech, testing iPod's operation after battery replacement. Audio output works and overall operation is ok. Will do further testing in the future #retro #vintage #mp3
