iPod Touch 5 - Flickering Front Camera - Repair

The front camera for an iPod Touch 5 would flicker upon use. There would be streaks of lines through the screen when the camera was active. It turns out that the VCC_Main filter to the camera voltage regulator had no continuity, which was weird since the camera still functioned more or less. With the replaced filter, the camera worked well once again.
