I Turned an iPod Into a USB Mouse 14 Years Ago… Now I Fixed One | Modding iPod 4G
Description
Back in 2011, I tried modding an iPod Classic 4th gen… and ended up turning it into a USB mouse. ????
This time, I’m doing it right.
While traveling in Japan, I picked up this iPod Classic from a Hard-Off store for about $7. It didn’t work — just the dreaded “sad iPod” screen. But instead of letting this one go, I decided to repair it and give it a flash mod upgrade.
If you enjoy retro tech, modding, and giving old devices a second life, make sure to subscribe — I’ve got more shenanigans like this coming soon.
