Description

Of course, both of my iPods have bad batteries. I already ordered a new cell for my fifth gen iPod Video but I want to be able to listen to music in my car now and no wait however long it's going to take to get my new battery.

In this particular instance, I am salvaging the original (aftermarket) battery control board and using it with an aftermarket cell of the same chemistry. A proper sized battery would be best but I instead used what I had on-hand. A DS Lite battery seems to fit great so that's what I'm using. It's also the only thing I had that fit so it's not like I had much choice. A saving grace is probably the CF adapter I am using in place of the original, long dead, 20GB HDD.

This is the video I mentioned regarding my cassette adapter: https://youtu.be/a3ld2xMspBw
And it still works great btw.

Also, if anyone knows how to sync a Zune, I'm all ears. I'm going to do more research but when I tried installing the software, it complained it was missing files and needed to download stuff but it just redirected to a microsoft URL that 404s.
